Foreign nationals may apply for temporary residence on the basis of compliant employment or an officially recognised highly qualified status; employed work will generally also require an employer-sponsored work permit.
Applicants meeting one of the State Migration Service criteria for investment, property, term deposit or securities may submit the corresponding evidence for temporary residence.
A person with an officially recognised close-family relationship to an Azerbaijani citizen or a foreign national resident in Azerbaijan may apply for temporary residence under the relevant legal ground.
