EU/EEA Registration Scheme

For EU/EEA citizens and Swiss citizens covered by equivalent rules; Nordic citizens use separate population-registration rules. After three months the person must register and continue to qualify as an employee, self-employed person, student, self-sufficient person or family member. Registration confirms an existing right and is not a third-country residence permit.
