Researcher with Own Funds

For a researcher invited by a Norwegian university, university college or research institution who conducts research with own or external funds rather than as an employee. Employed doctoral candidates normally need the skilled-worker route. Own-funds research follows a study-like permit logic and does not automatically count toward permanent residence.
